About me...

Hello, my name is Gabriel Serna, I was born in 1974 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Probably like you, as a child I had aptitude for drawing and painting. However, I never had the oportunity to developed my full potential in a school specializing in art. In fact, never attended an art academy and I was practically self-taught.

Part of my childhood and teens were the most productive times, specially in the drawing part. During those years I specialized in pencil drawing (graphite) focused primarily on the human figure and portraits of people. In fact, my first commission paid, was when i was  13 years old. But when I turned 16 years, i left the draws to begin working because i need to pay my studies.

Unfortunately, I must confess that I never finished my studies for several reasons, and I never went to college.

After many years, I occasionally tried to go back to the drawing and painting.  But I never came back to draw, as I did during my childhood.

Two years ago, I returns to the drawing just to see what had happened with my skills, and discovered with great amazement, that my skills have improved over the years.

That same year, I started to search people on the internet who share my passion for drawing. Fortunately, I found many people with huge talent, and this motivates me to create this space and invite them to share with the whole world their talent.

Until now, i have just completed 3 drawings, and 2 years have passed since the last one, but I've started working on the new ones, and very soon (i hope so) I´ll publish my new work on this site. 

Until that happens, feel free to publish and share your artwork with this new community.

 And well... Today, I live in Mexico City,  occasionally, I work independently as a web designer, and I also have two small business online, about sale of real estate and mortgage credit management.  By the way, this website was designed entirely by me.
